My message to fellow residents,

I care about our community’s history, identity and future - the roads we drive, the places our kids play, the recreation opportunities we have, the taxes we pay and the community we’re leaving for the next generation.

Over the past 20 years I’ve spent my career working with people, organizations and governments to navigate complex situations and problems. I’ve led at the provincial level, and represent 3000+ professionals at national and international tables. I’ve built partnerships. I’ve worked through conflict. I’m leading a local volunteer community organization. And I’m raising my family here.

I intend to run because I believe St. Andrews deserves experienced, collaborative and accountable leadership-and I’m ready to put that experience to work for our community.

  • Care for what we have.

    Responsible planning. Transparent priorities. Reliable infrastructure. Long-term thinking.

  • Build the community we want.

    Municipal governments should help create communities where people actually want to live, raise families, and stay throughout their lives.

  • Plan for what is next.

    We shouldn’t wait until we’re overwhelmed or under pressure to plan for growth - we must build with intention.

  • Transparency & Accountability

    I will be a councillor who communicates. Residents deserve to know what’s happening, why decisions are being made, and what leaders are doing about issues.

Listening Tour - what 'I’m hearing

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your interest in getting to know me better. When I put my name forward as a prospective candidate for Ward 2, I said I wanted to spend this campaign listening and I want to tell you a little but about what that means.

I’ve lived and worked in communities for many years, and one thing I’ve learned is that good decisions start with listening to the people actually living with the outcomes.

So over the coming weeks, I’m getting out into Ward 2 to hear from residents, families, businesses, volunteers, community organizations and our rural neighbours about what matters to them.

I want to hear what’s working, what isn’t, what we should be protecting, and where you think we can do better.

We’ll be talking about development and planning, infrastructure, recreation, history and heritage, families and community life, and the future of Ward 2.

I won’t have an answer to every question - and I don’t think a candidate should pretend to.

But I do believe that if we listen carefully, ask good questions and have honest conversations, we can make better decisions for our community.

So if you see me out and about, please come say hello. And if there’s something you think I need to hear, I want to hear it.
